2023 Allegiance AVX Cosmic Journey PJ14 Age of X Alpha 1 B&W ePack PSA 9
A PSA 9 Black & White version of the A Cosmic Journey insert from 2023 Upper Deck Allegiance Avengers vs X-Men. This card was never inserted in packs. It’s an Upper Deck e-Pack achievement exclusive that collectors could only earn by combining ten digital cards and having the physical card shipped to them, so far fewer exist than the standard insert. It features Mirco Pierfederici’s art from Age of X: Alpha (2010) #1. A glowing figure hovers arms outstretched in a blaze of cosmic plasma above a crowd of mutant warriors charging through a ruined city at night. The black and white artwork is printed on rainbow foilboard, so the whole card has a rainbow sheen when it catches the light. The back explains that in an alternate world without X-Men, mutants built a barricade against the Human Coalition, and among their warriors was Revenant, a being of glowing plasma with the mind of Rachel Summers. It also notes that Pierfederici has worked on Dark Wolverine and other Marvel series. A great pickup for Rachel Summers and Phoenix collectors, Age of X fans and Allegiance set builders.
Pull Odds: Not available in packs; earned only through an Upper Deck e-Pack achievement by combining ten digital cards. (The standard A Cosmic Journey insert is 1:5 hobby and e-Pack.)
A PSA Mint 9 is a superb condition card that exhibits only one of the following minor flaws: a very slight wax stain on reverse, a minor printing imperfection or slightly off-white borders. Centering must be approximately 60/40 to 65/35 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the reverse.
