1995 Topps Star Wars Galaxy 3 #322 Boba Fett 1st Day Production Dave Dorman
Boba Fett blasts away while a furious Chewbacca charges in from behind on this 1st Day Production parallel of card #322 from 1995 Topps Star Wars Galaxy Series 3. Part of "The Comics Strike Back" subset, the front showcases Dave Dorman's legendary painted cover for issue #2 of Dark Horse Comics' Dark Empire II, where Fett has tracked Han Solo to the spaceport moon Nar Shaddaa. The back features a second Dorman painting, his cover for Dark Empire II #4, showing a face-to-face standoff between Han and Fett alongside a battle between the Millennium Falcon and Slave I. Two Dorman Boba Fett paintings on one card makes this a standout for bounty hunter fans.
1st Day Production cards are marked with a gold foil stamp on the front and hold a special place in Star Wars card history as the first pack-inserted parallels ever made for a Star Wars trading card set.
