2010 Topps Star Wars Galaxy Series 5 #97 Obi-Wan Kenobi Donato Giancola Visions

Ben Kenobi stands in quiet contemplation inside a sunlit, arched Tatooine dwelling in this stunning painting by Donato Giancola, from 2010 Topps Star Wars Galaxy Series 5. Shafts of light cut across his dark Jedi robes as he holds his lightsaber at his side, captured in Giancola’s rich, classical painting style. The card is part of “The Art of Star Wars” subset, titled “Visions 2010 (A),” and showcases artwork from Star Wars: Visions, the 2010 Abrams Books collection of illustrations inspired by the saga. Giancola is a multiple Hugo Award winning artist known for his science fiction and fantasy work, and this piece is one of the standout images from that book.
