The Dark Knight rises against a blood-red moon in this tribute to Batman: The Animated Series (1992), from Upper Deck's Batman 85th Anniversary Weekly set. The card showcases the show's iconic key art, with Batman's sharp, angular silhouette, glowing white eyes, and sweeping cape rendered in the bold, shadowy art deco style that made the series a landmark for both animation and the character. The back carries the official Batman 85 Years logo.
This set was released exclusively through Upper Deck e-Pack over five weeks, with a new drop every Thursday at noon Pacific starting November 14, 2024 and wrapping up December 12, 2024. Each week was limited to just 5,000 packs, capped at 5 packs per transaction, and each 2-card pack held a mix of base cards, 85th Anniversary parallels numbered to 85, and 1-of-1 printing plates. Every week had its own theme, moving from historic comic covers to movies, iconic villains, The Animated Series, and finally the Batmobile and other vehicles. This Joker card comes from the Week 3 Iconic Batman Villains drop, which covered cards #21 through #30 of the 50-card base set.
